Shutters

Imagine cool, crisp lines covering the whole window and complementing your chosen room design.
Think of total privacy, a stylish new look and ultimate light control. S:CRAFT shutters provide these benefits and so much more. Wrapped up in a timeless style statement, and available in a range of materials and colours, full height shutters span the whole window.
Full height plantation shutters easily let light in, or block it out based on your preference, due to their simple panel configuration, providing fantastic privacy for your home.
Adding a layer to your windows, shutters are also a great form of insulation, helping retain heat during the winter.

For bathrooms and bedrooms, the places where you need a bit of privacy at all hours, the ability to move panels and louvres independently could be just what you’re after.
The tier-on-tier style is ideal for blocking out light as well as unwanted attention, top or bottom, day or night.
If you’re looking to emphasise a beautiful Victorian sash window, tier-on-tier shutters help complete the look and provide easy access to open or close your windows.

Bay windows are designed to make the most of sunlight in your home, and shutters help you get the light levels just right, whatever the time of day. Rather than other window coverings, which need to be either fully open or closed, shutters can simply be tilted to avoid the direct glare of the sun.
Helping you show off the architectural features of your bay, shutters are made-to-measure just for you. Imagine your bay free from tracks, cords or material, replaced with the elegant, simple lines of plantation shutters.
S:CRAFT shutters are crafted for the unique angles and sizes of the bay itself, maximising your space and available light.

Unlike our full height plantation shutters, the beauty of café style is that they only cover the bottom half of the window. So even with added privacy for your home, you can still enjoy the warming glow of the summer sun, filtering into your home.
If you want to accentuate your existing window features, such as stained glass, then café style shutters are the choice for you.
Only covering part of the opening they’re ideal for this purpose, as well as providing easy access for operating classic wooden sash windows.

Unlike a shutter for windows, the primary function of wardrobe door shutters is not light control, but ventilation. Being purely designed for interiors, the louvres provide excellent air flow, keeping your clothes or belongings free from damp.
If you don’t need to tilt the louvres, you can opt to have them fixed to the panels themselves.
Like all S:CRAFT shutters, wardrobe doors are crafted to meet your requirements. If you need to have full access to your wardrobe, then the bi-fold track system allows you to fold the panels out of the way. A by-pass track slides the panels past each other, although this means there is always one panel width covered.

Skylights are designed to brighten any space, bringing light into the more awkward areas of the home, such as slanting roof spaces or loft conversions.
Hanging curtains or blinds from an angle isn’t the easiest job in the world, which is why made-to-measure shutters are a stylish and practical choice. Adding design appeal and practicality to tricky spaces, shutters provide excellent light control and privacy when closed.
We offer a range of options to help you get a shutter to match your space, however there may be limitations due to the window itself. Catering for a number of Velux window styles, as well as colour and material choices the sky really is the limit!

The perfect choice if you’re thinking of re-imagining larger windows or glass doors, track shutters provide ultimate light control whatever the time of day or night. When the louvres are tilted at an angle, they also add privacy to patio doors in your home, or glass dividing screens in an office environment.
Above and beyond being fantastic for windows and doors, track shutters also work well as room dividers for open plan homes.
Dividing up your space with a stylish solution like plantation shutters helps keep your home that bit warmer when you need it, and lets you create flexible contemporary living zones without obstructing the light.

Having an irregular shaped window or opening requires something a bit more unique. S:CRAFT shutters suit all window shapes, no matter how curved or angled, small or large, so make a perfect alternative to off-the-shelf coverings like curtains, drapes or blinds.
Due to the age of some properties, window frames can warp and bend over time, making shutters the natural choice for period homes. Adding a layer to your windows, shutters also help insulate your home, making them an excellent choice for older properties that tend to have single paned glass in the windows.
Whether a triangle, arch or circle, the shape of the window or opening itself will dictate which material choices are available, so always speak to your local S:CRAFT supplier to see which options are possible for your home.

As implied by the name, rather than the usual louvres found on S:CRAFT shutters, the solid panels can only by operated by opening or closing the whole panel itself. Opening the panels fully lets in as much sunlight as possible during the day, and blocks out any external light when closed.
Available only in our Fiji premium hardwood range, solid panel shutters provide a more classic look. As they help promote a more traditional, classic aesthetic, solid panels are a popular choice for cottages and listed buildings such as period properties and large countryside homes with sash windows or high ceilings.

Take control of the light filtering into your home with shutters that are designed to help you make the most of your French doors. Tilting the louvres provides excellent light control, as well as providing privacy from the outside world, which is particularly useful if your home is overlooked by other properties.
Like all S:CRAFT shutters, French door shutters help insulate your home, adding a layer to your space, and reducing heat loss when closed. For larger glass expanses like patio doors, and conservatories, plantation shutters keep you warmer during the winter and cooler in the summer months.
Unlike most of our other styles, French door shutters are only available in our Fiji and Samoa materials.
